Hopeless

A preoccupied young girl with a good-natured mind,
the feeling of loneliness came to her every night.

Derided by the others, she still always smiled,
but as soon no one was watching, she got lost in her inner fight.

Unheeded by the few of those she trusted, she still remained quiet,
whenever no one was nearby, she silently cried.

So this goes on and on, with no end in sight,
Even if it could get better: Her hope had already died.
